New Painting and Video: “Mary and the Son”

It took longer than expected, but “Mary and the Son” is finished.  I’m glad it all came together before Christmas 🙂

Let me know what you think.

Also, here is another attempt at an art video (you can find the first art video  here).  My husband doesn’t think the music quite fits with the mood of the painting… but this song lodged itself in my head nearly the entire time I was working, so it seemed appropriate.

I hope you enjoy it.

For anyone interested, prints of all my Bible-inspired art will be available soon.  I’m working out the best method for making them, but I should have it all figured out before Christmas (I hope…).

Virtual Reality Poetry

My very talented brother, Roberto Sosa, is a graphics and animation artist, and awhile ago he asked if he could use one of my poems as the basis for his first virtual reality animation.

After months of working on it, the movie is finished! Not only that, it was accepted by a film festival (more info on that to come).

So, for your viewing pleasure, I present my poem “Waiting for Big Benny” as a virtual reality experience!

Note: You don’t need the VR headset to enjoy the video. It should still work as a 360-degree experience on most smartphones, and even on computers (drag the mouse to look around).

Another side note: You may notice my last name is spelled wrong in the credits… That is being fixed. I still love my brother.
